MyOPSView: management reporting for facilities.

MyOPSView was originally developed to interface with Advancis WinGuard, the PSIM platform from Advancis Software & Services GmbH in Langen, Germany. MyOPSView helps facility teams understand alarms, faults, energy consumption, trends, and operational performance across complex environments. Pushed Notifications and the Services Portal are included capabilities within the MyOPSView software package.

WinGuard architecture

MyOPSView extends WinGuard environments with browser-based management reporting.

WinGuard is typically deployed as a client-server PSIM application, with a main server and optional redundant hot standby servers. Operator client machines connect to WinGuard so teams can process alarms and events from integrated safety, security, and building platforms.

Advancis

End-client deployment

Advancis Software & Services GmbH sells WinGuard for use by end clients. Clients provide the hardware inside their own network, and purchased WinGuard licenses are installed into the platform using the license ID synchronized with the Advancis licensing portal.

Built on WinGuard integrations

A key value of WinGuard is its established integrations with global building safety and security platforms. MyOPSView uses that operational content to provide reporting, trend analysis, and management visibility.

Interface to Advancis

To use MyOPSView reporting on Advancis WinGuard data, clients must purchase and install the proprietary AOP for MyOPSView interface on their WinGuard servers. This allows real-time data to be forwarded from WinGuard to MyOPSView and stored in the MyOPSView database tables for reporting.

Server deployment

MyOPSView is typically installed on a separate server. In larger installations, the MyOPSView database storage can be installed on another dedicated server.

Integrator delivery

For many WinGuard end clients, the software is sold, delivered, and maintained by integrator companies that also install and maintain building systems such as BMS, CCTV, access control, fire, and intrusion platforms.
